Overleaf's spell-checker now supports five additional languages: Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Czech, Ukrainian and Polish

Following a recent update to our spell-checker to use a more comprehensive and more stable set of libraries, we're also delighted to have added five additional language options! They are:

  • Italian
  • Portuguese (Brazil)
  • Czech
  • Ukrainian
  • Polish

This latest release also includes an update to the Portuguese (Portugal) dictionary to now use the post-agreement orthographic as standard.

You can change the spell-check language option either on a per-project basis (see the final section of the intro video below), or as a global setting in your account.
